After 2 days resting the s*dding back, time to get out ther again. Bad start to the sesh - had to de-rig the sail after rigging up as the mast wasn¥t fully connected in the middle, then on my first run I leaned into the harness and it pinged off! Was very glad of the 103l volume in the Axxis, just enough to sit on and sort meself out.

The Levante wind is cross-offshore. Going ¥out¥from the beach, to sail on a beam/slightly close reach meant hitting the waves head-on. To go broad to avoid the waves meant flying off overpowered. I cannot ¥chop-hop¥, merely chop-slap. It really was a very up & downy slappy session, but the runs back to the beach over the backs of the waves were great! Changed down from a 34cm freeride fin to a smaller wave fin which helped slightly, but now I had a problem with spin-out. Too lumpy to even bother going for gybes. Overall it was..OK!
